Welcome to PLATFORM 1 Heritage Farm Railway Take the train ride through the historic farmyard and out into the open paddock. Travel through farm buildings, past sheep and cattle and the old gum trees. It may be your child’s lucky day when the train driver lets him/her change the switches! This 69 acre property has been in the Liebelt family since the early 1850’s and now 6th generation Liebelt, Glenn Liebelt, welcomes visitors to this picturesque farm. Hands-on railway displays are housed in the farm buildings. Make the signal work, be a fireman or a train driver, follow the train track and discover life on the railways from over 80 countries of the world. The kids will love this interactive area and they can dress up with railway helmets and vests as they play. Pat and feed the friendly farm animals. Meet Ruby the pig - see her special party trick - Bill the Clydesdale horse, Big Ears the sheep that loves to follow you around on the train and other animals for you to greet. Miss Moo will love a scratch, Micki the guinea pig likes to be held and the lambs are very cute. Animal feed is available to purchase. Play the outdoor old-fashioned games. These games are a favourite with the children and for the young at heart. Play horse-shoe throwing, balls in the milk cans and a giant board game of ‘Trains &Tunnels’.
